Doreen and I hit the road and headed to Dublin last week to be inspired by the movers and shakers in the world of digital and social media and marketing. I hope you find my account of the day and the resulting thoughts interesting.

Being Inspired

I tell people all the time, social media is customer service and marketing, not a new concept for businesses, just a new way of doing things. I tell them this because people who have yet to dip their toe in the social media ocean are nervous. Doreen from Media Manager wrote a previous blog about Facebook Fear and for many it’s very real.

As is true for most things in life, what you get out of social media is about equal to what you put in. Sometimes you get out a lot, lot more, than you put in, but those case studies are for another day when we need some inspiration!
